Hello! Welcome to the site! The mission of Freedom for Me is to help you to set yourself free from anything that is holding you back in life. It is my goal to inspire you to adopt healthier eating patterns, break free from unhealthy relationships with food/exercise, and release yourself from negative thought patterns, so you can enjoy your life fully! The purpose of this site is to provide workouts, nutrition information, free (donation-based) yoga, and positive motivation to help you reach your health goals.
I have always had a passion for helping people eat healthy and exercise. In college, I decided to major in Health and Exercise Science because of my love for all things nutrition and fitness. After college, I became a personal trainer and worked with people to help them reach their nutrition and fitness goals. Personal training was rewarding but my desire to learn more sent me back to school where I earned a doctorate in Education with a specialization in Physical Education and Health. Since earning my degree, I have taught numerous health and exercise science classes at the university level including Personal Health, Nutrition, Stress Management, Boot Camp Fitness, Yoga Fitness, Research for Health Sciences, and various other health-related courses. I have always desired to start my own business to share my knowledge of health and fitness with the world and inspire others to meet their goals. I am currently creating a nutrition/weight loss book and exercise programs that will be available on this site shortly. In the meantime, I plan to use this site to provide some free workouts and motivation to help get you in shape after the quarantine.
